What does HA mean to you? HA means minimal, if any, downtime...typically less than one hour per year. HA means ensuring business operations continue without interruption for virtually any reason. HA means piece of mind; getting what you pay for; not paying staff to work over-time; employee and customer satisfaction...
VMware provides HA tools that benefit BayScribe customers by protecting their systems and their business. Because BayScribe is a Virtual Machine it is not dependent upon specific hardware and can run in any IT environment. If the ESX Server running BayScribe fails, the entire BayScribe system can be moved from one server to another across the hall, or across the continent, automatically to ensure service is uninterrupted (see diagram below). The system can be moved during production to accommodate normal server maintenance as well.

What does CA mean? CA means no downtime. None... Never Down! 100% Uptime. When you absolutely cannot afford to have your dictation system go down, ever, BayScribe is the only Dictation solution that can offer you this level of availability, and do so without spending (read: wasting) hundreds of thousands of dollars, or more. With a Fault Tolerant solution, information is streamed to two servers in lock-step so that if one fails, the other continues operations uninterrupted. It costs more than HA, but if you need it, we have it.
